The film is a journey that explores the environmental restoration along Tamil Nadu’s coastline in the post-tsunami context. Many groups have been working persistently for decades-trying to protect and conserve coastal eco-systems. However, after the tsunami of 2004 their work gathered impetus. The film looks at the plantation of coastal forests in Auroville, the restoration of fields and the slow rehabilitation of people in Nagapattinam. The film ends with an ode to the beauty of the Mangrove ecosystems and their significance in our ecosystems.
